Google maps adds satellite imagery post-hurricane:

This map integrates with water depth information. You'll want to click
on the red Katrina button, then scroll a little bit to the right and
zoom in a bit. If you click on the map it gives you how deep the water
is there.

The owner of the site is trying to help people figure out what happened
to their homes.
