I installed some nice security cameras around the house - these are just three of a larger array. I ran the power/audio/video lines myself into a Linux-based multi-capture card and servers; the excellent
ZoneMinder software manages the cameras. The cameras don't provide anything but a dumb video stream, but ZoneMinder turns that into a stream of JPEGs, does motion-analysis, captures the events, creates Quicktime movies of the events, and even has a nice web interface for viewing it all. Having the images here is not only a nice demo, but another means of offsiting the images and video in case anything happens.
